UES staple! Amazing staff (shout out to Cameron the bartender and Sebastian the manager), great selection of beer, wine, and liquor, and tasty well portioned bites including pigs in a blanket and shepherds pie. Try their PA'LANTE Mexican rum you won't be disappointed. I appreciate an Irish Bar that doesn't roll their eyes at you for ordering something other than beer. They'll even provide suggestions if you're unsure. Monday trivia on the upper level is a fun time (shout out to Melissa the host). Downstairs has pop-a-shot basketball, darts, and pool, so your group always has something to do. Amazing vibes.
Haven't eaten here yet, but I popped in on a random Saturday afternoon when I had some time to kill, and I felt instantly at home. Bar tender friendly and attentive, Pinot Grigio (I am a risk taker) totally respectable, music 80's which is just what I was I. The mood for. Happy, happy, happy!
This bar has been in the neighborhood for ever! It's an Upper East side staple. It may not be a big bar but it always gets a crowd here. Great place to watch sports, hang with friends. They used to have a nice outdoor shed that was split into little seating private areas with tvs and outlets and all. They also have one or two small tables right outside of the place. This sports bar has some games in the back if the first floor. They also have a very nice party room upstairs with its own bar and seating area. All the bartenders that I have met from here are all very nice. I recommend coming here if in the area.
Went for drinks and this place has one of the best vibes:space ratio in the Upper East Side. Good music, a lot of space, and just a solid local bar. Recommend.
Carol, the barmaid and Marcus the bouncer both individually went above and beyond tonight for me. Were fantastic help for me when I experienced difficulty looking for lost belongings and were all round excellent in service too. Extremely helpful throughout the evening and helped me even though they didn't have to. Will be back again because of Carol and Marcus! -Carl

We happen to stumble upon this pub after the St Patrick's Day parade. It was so crowded, obviously everyone having fun! It was nice that they had an additional bar upstairs where we were able to find a place sit, relax and drink our tap beer with less rowdy noise. I do not recall if a food menu was available since we weren't coming for food. Tap beer prices were reasonable. Restrooms were adequate, for Manhattan standards. Staff was friendly.
